Character Workshop

I took part in a character workshop, to help our skills of developing a character and backstory for this character, in preperation for my film. We began by choosing a picture from a selection of random people found on 'google', we then gave them ten facts.

My character is Sophie Harper
Aged: 27
She is single and has not had a relationship since high school
She works as a spy for MI5
She is a very career driven person
She prefers to be called Susan
She speaks in a upper class accent, although she is originally from Essex and naturally has a strong accent
She no longer talks to her family as she needs her identity to be covered
She lives in a one bedroom apartment with her Jack Russel

We then were asked to think of an item our character would have that is very special to them and how they would act if they lost it.

A locket she has with a picture of her family in that reminds her of her old life. The picture is on the beach, the last holiday she went on with her family.

Sophie runs into the room throwing the covers and pullouts off the bed, anxious with a worried expression on their face. She crawls along the floor, falling to the floor as she hastily tries to stand. She runs to her drawers throwing her clothesaround the room.
